As some of you may have read in one of my reviews this year, my wife and I have been expecting a little one. And because of that, not all races would be covered by a review. Since I have now missed 2 races in a row, you probably guessed that something is up. Or out. If you will.
And yes, we have become parents to a little girl! I know this is hardly race related, but it’s my blog dammit! And I want to show off my little cutie pie 😉 Her name is Susanne. And we will naturally start grooming her for karting in a few years. Or perhaps it will be horseback riding if my wife gets her way. It’s up in the air at this point.
Ok, that was just the little update I wanted to put out there. Apologies for the Red Bull shirt in the photo. I have trouble knowing what to wear these days before we know what team Kimi races for in 2014. And if the latest news is anything to go by then I might have to start digging out my old Ferrari gear from the closet again. Can you imagine? Craziest silly season ever.
Take care my friends. And expect a review for Belgium. I just know that Kimi will shake the Ardennes to their foundation!
Love,
Soren
Congrats to the both of you.
We miss your reviews but clearly you’re needed elsewhere!
hey man, u wore a RB shirt for this pic! WHYYYYY???? LOL
Would you rather I wear a Ferrari shirt? :p I still kinda hope Red Bull will happen. But with the latest Ferrari rumors, I dont know what to think anymore. Haha.
Congratulations Soren!
So nice to hear that You, Mom, and Susanne are doing great. And if you permit me suggest a nice book to read about baby’s development I would recommend “Brain Rules for Babies” by John Medina. You will be learning about the latest on baby/child development and also laughing a lot as he has a great sense of humor. But I think you might not have time to read or maybe already read about child development from other sources — a Professor at college recommended it to me. About the Ferrari rumors, I think it makes sense, but they have to announce it -if it is true- in small doses so that some people don’t have a heart attack. I am following news about this at the AUTOSPORT’s Forum.
Take care Soren, and hope to read your reviews when you can write them.
Nana
Thanks Nana. I might pick that up. I appreciate a good tip for a book.
Yea, Ferrari seems crazy. But maybe. This is F1. And it’s Kimi. He is known to shock people up through his career
The little girl looks great! so sweet! i wish her the best of all for her life!!!!!!!!!!! ❤
Thank you Olga 😀
Congratulations! But I hope that she could have been born on the summer break so you could have written about the last two races 😉
I tried telling my wife. But you know how it is with women – they never listen! 😉
Congrats Soren and I wish good health for both the baby and the mom 🙂
Our first child was born Friday night and its a boy,so my wife has no other option but the gokarts 😛
Wow. Congrats back to you! Glad to hear that you have an easy choice 😀
Congratulations Soren!! Your future plans for little Suzanne seem really good, she’ll be proud to have parents like you guys when she grows up:)
I have to say that I sorely missed your reviews for the last two races, i.ve been checking in every now and then for an update.
Looking forward to Spa, and so must be you.
Thanks Fahama. Funny that you write Suzanne with a ‘z’. We havent quite decided if we want a ‘z’ or just ‘s’ in her name yet.
Glad to hear I was missed. Don’t worry, I am back in the game with the upcoming Spa!
Congrats to you & your family and wishing a very bright future for your Susanne in whatever she chooses to join..
Thanks a lot 😉
Congrats, Soren and you lovely wife for the beautiful baby girl Susanne/Suzanne!
“Susanne” sure got some nice European flavor, but I’d still ride with “Suzanne”.
Why? Well, just for the Hollies…
Thank you Hank. And “Sorry Suzanne” is a classic song. So maybe.. I will relay the info to my wife 😉
Congratulations to your lovely little girl! Hope she let you sleep at night Soren.
